N-propanol-based solvent consumption decreased as a result of a slowdown in construction, particularly in residential and small infrastructure projects. Rising temperatures and financial difficulties caused delays for contractors and developers, which reduced demand from coatings producers. However, as suppliers changed their production levels to better suit the slower downstream demand, the market steadied by the fourth week. As of xnd May, the prices for N-propanol were reported at INR xxxxx/MT for CFR Kandla basis.
