BASF has successfully obtained ISCC+ certification for all its major global production sites involved in Acrylics, Alcohols, Glycol Ethers, and Acetates. This significant milestone marks a major advancement in supporting its customers鈥 sustainability goals and aspirations. With ISCC+ certification, BASF can now produce over 60 products within this portfolio, each featuring one or more sustainability attributes. This certification demonstrates BASF鈥檚 commitment to sustainable practices and enhances its capability to offer products that meet rigorous environmental and social standards. By achieving this certification across its key production sites, BASF is poised to better align with global sustainability trends and customer expectations.

In addition to its established range of high-quality and dependable 鈥楥lassic鈥 products, the majority of the portfolio now includes options with various sustainability attributes. These attributes include 鈥楲ow-PCF鈥 and 鈥榋ero-PCF,鈥 which focus on reducing the product carbon footprint and assisting customers in meeting their greenhouse gas reduction targets. 鈥楤io-based鈥 products incorporate biomass and are traceable using the 14C method. Ccycled庐 products are manufactured from chemically recycled materials sourced from plastic waste or end-of-life tires, supporting a circular economy. Furthermore, products 鈥楳ade using Green Power鈥 highlight BASF's commitment to renewable energy, enhancing the sustainability of the production process.
