BGR Tech and Chemie Tech Sign Deals for Global Green Hydrogen and Ammonia Projects

BGR Tech Ltd. and Chemie Tech DMCC have announced a partnership to jointly execute large-scale green hydrogen and ammonia projects worldwide. The collaboration leverages the complementary strengths of both companies, combining advanced manufacturing and engineering prowess with extensive EPC and project development expertise to deliver comprehensive clean energy solutions.

The Heads of Agreement (HOA), signed on April 9, lays the groundwork to establish a scalable and reliable global infrastructure for green hydrogen and ammonia.

Under the terms of the agreement, BGR Tech Ltd., a company with a strong foothold in oil and gas process equipment and an expanding portfolio in green hydrogen technologies, will be responsible for providing critical technological components. This includes electrolysers, which are essential for producing green hydrogen through water electrolysis powered by renewable energy, as well as purification systems and other related engineering solutions.

Chemie Tech, a globally recognized EPC and project development company headquartered in Sharjah, UAE, with an engineering center in Vadodara, India, will spearhead the project execution across the entire value chain. Chemie Tech will manage all aspects from conceptualization to commissioning. This encompasses Front-End Engineering Design (FEED), support for Final Investment Decisions (FID), securing necessary licensing partnerships, detailed design and engineering, Balance of Plant (BOP) integration, construction, erection, commissioning, and ultimately, Operations & Maintenance (O&M) services.
