Brenntag, a global leader in chemical and ingredient distribution, has inaugurated a new AdBlue庐 production facility in Samut Prakan, Thailand, marking a significant milestone in its regional expansion strategy. The site has received official certification from the Quality Management Center (QMC) of the German Association of the Automotive Industry, making it the first VDA-certified AdBlue庐 production facility in the Asia Pacific region within Brenntag鈥檚 network. This development strengthens the company鈥檚 footprint in a region experiencing rising demand for emissions-control solutions.
Strategically located approximately 30 kilometers from central Bangkok, the facility is integrated within Brenntag鈥檚 existing warehouse complex, enabling efficient distribution to both domestic and regional customers. Its location enhances logistical capabilities, ensuring faster and more reliable supply chains across Thailand and neighboring markets. The new plant complements Brenntag鈥檚 already established VDA-certified facilities in other parts of the world, reinforcing its global commitment to consistent product quality and compliance.

It is a high-purity solution containing 32.5 percent urea, used in selective catalytic reduction systems to convert nitrogen oxides into harmless nitrogen and water vapor. The VDA license granted to Brenntag authorizes the company to manufacture, package, and distribute AdBlue庐 from its Samut Prakan facility throughout Thailand and the broader Asia Pacific region, supporting increasing regulatory and environmental demands.
