Ecovyst Inc., a global provider of advanced materials, specialty catalysts, and sulfuric acid services, announced the completed acquisition of sulfuric acid production assets in Waggaman, Louisiana, from Cornerstone Chemical Co.

The transaction was carried out through Eco Services Operations Corp., a wholly owned subsidiary of Ecovyst. The acquisition strengthens Ecovyst鈥檚 presence in the sulfuric acid market and is expected to enhance the company鈥檚 operational flexibility, supply reliability and overall capacity.
