EVA Prices Hold Steady in Belgium Amid Tight Supply and Soft Demand in Early June

In the first ten days of June xxxx, spot prices for ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA) in Belgium remained stable, marking the fourth consecutive week of price stability. Despite persistent supply disruptions from two major producers, EVA prices failed to show upward momentum due to offsetting pressure from falling feedstock costs and lukewarm downstream demand.

While a seasonal lift in agricultural film orders provided a brief cushion, it was not enough to tip the market directionally, with both buyers and sellers sticking closely to May鈥檚 rollover price references. As of the week ending June x, EVA was assessed at around USD x,xxx per metric tonne FOB Antwerp鈥攈overing close to parity with LDPE levels.
