LOTTE CHEMICAL TITAN HOLDING BERHAD (LCTH) announced that its Indonesian subsidiary, PT LOTTE Chemical Indonesia (LCI), has secured a significant long-term sales agreement with PT Asahimas Chemical. The ten-year Sale and Purchase Agreement will see LCI supply approximately 150,000 metric tonnes of ethylene per annum to Asahimas, a prominent integrated chemical company in Indonesia.

This substantial supply agreement is directly linked to LCI's ongoing Lotte Integrated Petrochemical Complex project, which is on track for completion in the second half of 2025. The LINE project boasts an impressive annual production capacity of 1 million metric tonnes of ethylene. While a portion of this output will be utilized internally by Lotte Chemical for its own downstream operations, the remaining volume is strategically earmarked for sale in the broader market.

Asahimas Chemical, the recipient of this significant ethylene supply, plays a crucial role in Indonesia's chemical industry. The company specializes in the production of basic chemicals that serve as essential building blocks for various downstream industries. This long-term partnership with LCI ensures a stable and reliable supply of a key raw material for Asahimas, bolstering its production capabilities and contributing to the growth of the Indonesian chemical sector.

According to the official statement from LCTH, the pricing mechanism for the ethylene supply will be dynamically linked to prevailing market prices. The total value of this decade-long contract is projected to exceed 10% of LCTH鈥檚 latest annual published consolidated revenue, underscoring the significant financial implications and strategic importance of this agreement for the company.

LCTH anticipates that this landmark contract will positively influence the revenue streams of LCTH and its group of companies, commencing from the financial year ending December 31, 2025, and extending through to December 31, 2035. This consistent revenue generation over the next decade provides a strong foundation for LCTH's future financial performance and growth prospects within the Southeast Asian petrochemical landscape.

Furthermore, LCTH clarified that the newly secured sales agreement is not expected to have any impact on the share capital or the existing shareholding structure of the company. This reassurance maintains stability for investors and stakeholders, emphasizing that the agreement is purely an operational and revenue-generating initiative.

This strategic move by Lotte Chemical Titan through its Indonesian subsidiary demonstrates its commitment to expanding its market presence and capitalizing on the growing demand for petrochemical products in the region.
