PyroGenesis Inc., a leader in advanced plasma processes and sustainable solutions, has announced a $2.5 million CAD (approximately $1.74 million USD) contract through its subsidiary, Pyro Green-Gas Inc. The deal, signed with one of the world鈥檚 largest integrated environmental services companies, supports a significant urban waste-to-energy project in the United States. The client, a multinational company with multi-billion-dollar revenue and operations spanning dozens of countries, remains unnamed for confidentiality and competitive reasons.

Under the contract, Pyro Green-Gas will engineer, design, and deliver components for gas flaring technology. This system will enable the safe and environmentally responsible disposal of emissions that are unsuitable for processing during renewable natural gas (RNG) production. The technology will be deployed at a major U.S.-based organic waste-to-RNG facility, designed to produce high-quality natural gas for integration into the energy grid of a major metropolitan area. An initial payment of CA$400,000 has already been received, and the project is expected to be completed by 2025.
