Wood Achieves Record Year with AUD $3 Billion in Asia Pacific Contracts

Global consulting and engineering firm Wood has secured a record AUD $3 billion (USD $2 billion) in contract awards across the Asia Pacific region over the past 12 months. This milestone marks the company鈥檚 strongest year in the region to date, driven by high demand for expert services in the energy, resources, and infrastructure sectors.
The contracts include a combination of new awards, extensions, and renewals. Wood is delivering a range of integrated services, including advisory, engineering design, execution, and operations support for significant projects across Australia, Brunei, Papua New Guinea, Singapore, Timor-Leste, and the Philippines.
These contract wins reflect growing investment in energy security and resource development throughout the region. Among the key projects Wood will support are:
鈥听听听听听听听听听听听听 Esso, Victoria: Wood is providing long-term maintenance services for both onshore and offshore assets in the Gippsland Basin. These services aim to enhance operational performance and ensure reliability for one of Australia鈥檚 most critical energy-producing regions.
鈥听听听听听听听听听听听听 Shell Prelude FLNG, Western Australia: The company has been awarded brownfield engineering, procurement, and construction management (EPCm) responsibilities for Shell鈥檚 Prelude Floating Liquefied Natural Gas (FLNG) facility. As the world鈥檚 largest floating offshore gas platform, the Prelude project plays a major role in Australia鈥檚 LNG exports.
鈥听听听听听听听听听听听听 Singapore LNG Corporation: Wood is delivering front-end engineering design (FEED) for Singapore鈥檚 second liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminal. This project will strengthen the nation鈥檚 LNG infrastructure and contribute to long-term energy security.
Ralph Ellis, president of Asia Pacific operations at Wood, highlighted the region鈥檚 strategic importance and the company鈥檚 long-standing presence in it.
