Product Description
Tripropylene Glycol Diacrylate (TPGDA) is a difunctional acrylate monomer belonging to the family of polyether-based diacrylates used in radiation-curable and cross linkable polymer systems. It is produced by esterifying tripropylene glycol with acrylic acid under controlled conditions, yielding a low-viscosity, highly reactive liquid monomer. In its finished form, TPGDA is a clear to slightly yellow fluid with low volatility, good miscibility with other acrylate monomers, and strong reactivity under ultraviolet or electron-beam curing processes.
The material is valued for its ability to enhance crosslink density, improve film hardness, and increase chemical and abrasion resistance in cured polymer networks. Its balanced flexibility and reactivity make it a versatile component in formulations requiring rapid cure response and durable end-use performance. Tripropylene Glycol Diacrylate is widely used across radiation-curable coatings, inks, adhesives, and composites, where it serves as a key oligomer modifier to optimize viscosity, mechanical strength, and overall curing efficiency in industrial and commercial applications.
